What should I wear to my 8th grade promotion practice?

I was thinking a summer dress from Material girl that is tight to the waist with a zipper on spagetti straps than ruffles for the bottom part. Or a black pencil skirt a peachy pink v-neck w/a black mini cardi. Which sounds cuter? Thanks!
