Help i cant find my favourite cichlid, where could it be?

ive lost my red peacock cichlid. i cant find it anywhere. ive taken all the decorations out of the tank and ive checked outside of the tank but its not on the floor. i cant see any remains in the tank. i was going to blame the crayfish, but i have other cichlids that are the same size as the peacock and he never goes after them and he never goes after my 2" yoyo loach.
