I think my guinea pig is dying, please help?

No nothing like this has ever happened to me as my guinea pigs go to the vet when they show any signs of illness such as being off their fed and just not eating like they normally do, at that very moment I take them to their exotic vet as they should go.Why did you not take it to a vet this morning? Why are you on line asking stupid questions when you should be on route to the vet?
