Taurus female totally and utterly confused as to how the virgo man thinks and feels..?

im a taurus female who had a relationship with a virgo man, his a confusing and a complex soul with trust issues...we went from a full on relationship.. to friends (his choice) now we are not even friends (his choice again), he always did say he would be devastated if we did not work out as he is "set on me". does the virgo man really just cut and run and not care at all and move on? because he is acting like he couldnt care less.. or is he just angry that we did not work out and just needs time to himself? i have had 2 different clairvoyants say that he will come back into my life but my gut sometimes yes its really over, but then there are days i feel and sense he will be back.. i cant get my head around how the virgo man works or what i should do..and what do i do if he does come back into my life..im like his yoyo..is that normal for a virgo man :(
