Is it okay to wear these shoes to prom?

So it's my leavers prom soon and our school had a prom a few years back which was very formal and organised, but this ones more laid back because we're older and able to drink. So I was wondering if it would be okay to wear these shoes to prom http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/shoes/buckle-detail-courts_225112801 because I don't like feet I want to cover them up xD and I'm a tomboy, but I wanted to make an effort and wear heels. Also I don't want to spend a lot of money on shoes I'm going to wear for a night or two. My dress is short above the knee and black with a ruffle.
